Rachel (Harris) Hessing

Hi everyone! It's so great to see what you are all up to and I look forward to getting updates on others who will post. What a great idea!

As for what I have been doing these last ten years.....I first went to Ricks (as I still call it) and then moved to Utah for about 8 months and worked at Primary Children's Hospital. I then changed majors and moved to Boise and got my degree in nursing at Boise State. I work at St. Lukes Hospital in Boise as a RN in the Emergency Room. I really like my job. It's really challenging at times and it also makes for many good laughs. Let's just say it's amazing what people actually do behind closed doors.

I got married in 2005 to a great guy. His name is Chris and he is wonderful. Besides being really funny he is a great person all around. He is self-employed and does finish carpentry and machining. He is really talented at what he does. We remodeled a home in Meridian last year and sold it a couple months ago so now we are renting and hopefully buying/building a home soon. We don't have any kids right now but we have a dog, Gus, who is our little kid for now.

That about sums it all up. I look forward to seeing you all at the reunion and also catching up through the blog. Talk to you all soon!!!

The King Family is Roastin in St. George

Hello everyone! It has been so much fun to talk to all of you and e-mail you and mostly to have you help me find people for the upcoming reunion. We are glad so many of you will be coming. And for those who aren't, how nice to have this site to keep in touch with!

We're melting right now in incredibly sunny St. George, Utah. Yesterday we had a thunderstorm that cooled us off to 100 degrees, but it's back up to 115 tomorrow! I am so excited to be heading back to Rexburg! Seth is teaching seminary at Pine View High School here and loving it. Yes, he is still his crazy self with just a touch more maturity (only a touch) than you remember. I guess having 3 kids does something to you, right? . . . He loves the heat here and often goes mountain biking or takes the kids down to a nearby river or hiking up the mountain behind our house. He called me recently on his way home from work and asked if I would pick him up.(he was biking) It was a 112 degrees and he said that he was starting to black out after the first couple of miles...go figure...

We built a home here in 2003, which was quite an experience! Seth loves doing the yardwork and making projects for himself. He landscaped the entire yard, built our deck, and has become Mr. Fix-it around the neighborhood, taking care of several neighbor's lawns & sprinkler systems. I think Brent's Lawn and Leisure would be proud of him. :)

Seth and I graduated together from BYU-I in 2002 with our Bachelors Degrees just before we moved down here. Seth also got his Masters Degree at Utah State during the summers. I'm currently teaching piano and violin lessons--between 10-20 students, depending on the time of year. I love being able to be at home with my kids--they are crazy and full of energy--must have a lot of Seth in them. Our oldest is Lydia (6), who will start 1st grade this fall. She's such a good girl--she keeps us in line and informs us every time we break a rule. She's a good little reader and loves to play with her friends (anything from Barbies to Star Wars). Jacob (2) is the most like his daddy. He cracks us up! He has tons of personality and loves Cars, Thomas the Engine, hiking with dad, riding his bike, swimming, and knocking over his little sister, and breaking anything that is valuable to us. He is a good kid, but spends most of his day on a time out chair. I will let you imagine why he is on time out...remember he is the most like Seth. Eleni is a sweetheart. She always has her tongue sticking out, loves to eat potting soil from our plants, and is fascinated by water (toilets, swimming pools, sprinklers, and did I mention toilets?).

We hope someday to move back a little closer to Sugar, but for now we really feel at home here. We're looking forward to seeing you guys soon! I hope this doesn't exceed the limit--I've really gone on, haven't I? Sorry! Seth will probably want to write more later, but it takes him ages to get around to this sort of thing...what a nut. I think I laugh at him and with him most of my day. I love him so much. He just makes everybody around him happy including me. Take care and keep us posted.

Corianne (Kolditz) Adams

Yay! I'm actually excited it's been ten years! I feel like I'm starting to become an adult with responsibility! Ha ha! My husband Jonathan and I have been married for 8 years. We both graduated in Elementary ed with special ed. He is from Las Vegas and after graduating we moved into our first house there. We weren't planning on ever moving back to Rexburg but opportunites arose that were too good to pass up so we've been living in Rexburg the past 3 years. Jon has taught at our own Sugar high school!! as well as couched the jv volleyball team. He is going to start this coming school year at madison though. Which will be good since our kids go to Madison. We have three kids, Kydan is 7, Ceanna is 5, (she was the one born 3 months early and weighed 1 lb. 10 oz.) and Paysen is 2, we are also expecting number 4. I pretty much go crazy at home with the kids! I work once a week at Ostermiller counseling with a childrens group, gets me out of the house! I run across fellow classmates, now and again, Freeman lives several houses down the street from us, Danae Romrell lives around the corner, and I see Stears all the time, she's everywhere ha ha!! Jon coached her sister (even went to state), and our kids are on the same soccer team. Scott's boys Jaydon and Jyson are in Ceanna's primary class. So I guess I feel some connection to the past, must be what happens when you stay in Rexburg!!! Anyway, I think I'll stop blabbing now! It's good to hear from everyone!

Angie Bergstrom Miller

I swear it hasn’t been ten years.

I remember walking down the aisle in a dorky cap and gown for graduation, then I blinked and suddenly, we’re headed to a reunion.

Insane.

In the last ten years, I went to Ricks, BYU, and grad school. I married an awesome guy from California who I met at BYU, and we live in Meridian, ID, with our daughter Benette (almost 2). I worked at the LDS church magazines for a while, taught a couple classes at BYU and UVSC, and loved my job as storytime lady/children’s librarian at our local library. Now I am a stay-at-home mom and ponder more important issues of life like what exactly teletubbies are and how to get play-dough out of my daughter’s hair. My husband Carl is a transportation planner for the Boise region and is training for a marathon this summer. My daughter Beni loves hiding things, which is cute when it’s a teddy bear in my bed, not cute when it’s a banana in my running shoes. I keep myself busy doing freelance writing and editing from home. I’m excited to see everyone again, and I really enjoy reading these posts.

Spencer & Shayla (Checketts) Smith

Hello Everyone!

It's so good to hear from you! We're so looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion, it will be lots of fun to reminisce about the good ol' years!

Spencer & I are living in Coralville, Iowa right now. Spencer will be starting his 4th year in dental school right after the reunion. I keep teasing Spencer that he's one of the few who is STILL going to school! Oh well, the end is coming! Spencer really enjoys what he is doing and looks forward to being finished with school and getting a job (I am too!) He keeps pretty busy, but when he gets a free moment he likes to work in the garden. He's quite the gardener.

I am lucky enough to stay at home with our 2 daughters, Madilynn (5) and Devanee (3). They are so fun and I enjoy every minute. Madilynn will be starting kindergarten this fall and is so excited! Kindergarten here is full day so I must say I'm pretty excited too! Devanee will be in preschool in the mornings which she is really excited about too. It looks like I'm going to have so much time on my hands---oh, wait baby girl #3 is on her way! Yep, we are going to be the house of girls! We are expecting her to arrive the first week in November if not a little sooner! The girls are really excited to have another sister, but Madilynn is feeling sorry for dad because he's a little out numbered! The girls do love their daddy a whole lot, so I don't think he's got it too bad!

Spencer will graduate next June and we hope to head back west. I am getting a little tired of the heat and humidity, plus I need my mountains! We hope everyone is doing well, and we can't wait to see you soon!

What Richard has been doing

I'm live in Caldwell, ID. I work as a software developer for a freight matching company, kinda like Ebay for truckers. I have now been married for 7 years to a beautiful girl I met in college. We have a son Brandon , and another kid on the way due in January. Other than that not much to tell, I did search and rescue for a few years, I worked at HP as a software tester, nothing really exciting. I think it will be interesting to see what everyone else has been doing, and where there at.

HELLO EVERYONE! Jenn Stears Handy just checking in! This web page is so neat. I hope everyone will get on here just to keep in touch! I cannot believe it has been 10 freaking years! I am really looking forward to seeing all of you at the reunion. Just to give you a little information about me and my family. I have two children a girl (Madyson) who is seven and a boy (Kyler) who is five. They are a handful. My husband (Jared) and I have been married for almost 9 years! He is the best husband and father in the whole world. =) I am really lucky to have him. He works for the Post Office here in Rexburg Idaho. I am a paralegal working for two attorney's also here in Rexburg. My husband and I play co-ed softball every Friday night, that is really fun and I get to see alot of our class members that way. Well if this is not enough information about me then you will have to email me or talk to me at the reunion. I miss you all and am really looking forward to seeing you.

Hey all. It's been cool looking at all of the posts and pictures on here. I can't believe some of you and all that's happened in your lives. I haven't really been up to much. Just working and playing. Here I am in this picture with Sophie Bowen. She may not want to be on here with me, but I don't care. That's what she gets for being my friend :) JK. I haven't kept in touch with a lot of people accept for Suzanne Galbraith and Melanie Briggs, and of course Sophie. The reunion looks like it will be a lot of fun. I can't wait to see everyone and I look forward to hearing from more of you.
