Almost 30

Wow, I only have a year till I am 30 now. I think me and Jason Ogden said that we were going to die Skydiving at 30 or something like that. Who knew we would actually get married and have so many kids? I hope all is well with everyone. Welcome to the blog Shelley. I wish the best for you as you help your family through this time. Looks like I am a few years late... :D

Hey everyone,

I don't know if anyone uses this anymore but I thought I would give it a shot. I was so bummed about missing the reunion, but my sister was getting married, so what do you do? I have had an interesting 11 years so I will give you some of the highlights! I graduated from Ricks College with an Associates Degree in Social Work. While I was at Ricks I found out that I had a brain tumor...in my pituitary gland. But, I feel very fortunate that it wasn't cancer! After months of treatment I found out that the tumor was gone. A year later I was preparing to go to USU to finish school when I found out the tumor was back. So I had more treatment and made it to Utah. I graduated from USU in Family and Human Development and I am also a certified Child Protection Caseworker. In Utah I worked for 7 years with people who have disabilities (downs syndrome, mental retardation, etc.) helping them find jobs and teaching them daily living skills. I totally loved it. But last year I ended up coming back to beautiful sugar city to help take care of my dad who is suffering with dementia and not expected to live for many more years. I also ended up getting really sick and am struggling with several chronic illnesses. But, I am doing better now and things are good. I would love to hear from you all! Keep in touch.
